Adam Duke will get to deal against the Ducks if he gets to Oregon State. Here’s what he showed over the summer.
Listed at 6-2, 180, Duke showed some strength and coordination. He showed a fast arm and stayed closed in his delivery, reaching 89-91 on his fastball with room to grow. Duke has a durable frame, especially in his lower half, which is where he’s finding his strength. He dropped in a curveball at 75 with some shape and depth and an idea of how to pitch. Overall, this is a definite college prospect whose body features indicate more power to come in the future. Could be a candidate to sign after high school depending on progression and price tag. A definite follow if he pitches at Oregon State.
